I would like to thank all of you for subscribing to my channel. It makes me so happy to see that so many people enjoy my AMVs. This is my 18th full-length AMV (12th on this channel), and it has taken me the longest to make. -sighs- I tried making an Avatar AMV to this song over three years ago, but was never satisfied with it, so I never rendered it. However, recently I felt drawn to the song again as it reflects the pain that the characters experienced, but found renewed comfort in each other. I hope I characterized this part well enough in my video. :)

A disturbing game indeed.
Guess who rewatched Death Note just for this video? Haha, as soon as I heard this cover of Danse Macabre, I knew it would be perfect for Death Note. I tried to get out of rewatching it, by making this a Code Geass video, but Death Note works better, dont you think?
Anyways, this was a relatively easy video for me to make and Im happy with how it turned out. I was captivated by how evil Light turned out to be (and since Im still in denial about the ending, I left the victor open-ended in this video.)
Im surprised Ive never made a Death Note video before. The story heavily inspired my art and stories [which you guys dont know about, and thats okay. ;) ]

Basically, I wanted to do a My Tears Are Becoming a Sea video without using My Tears Are Becoming a Sea 😂
Ive wanted to use this song for many years, but I always felt this song was too short. I still feel that way, but I need to vomit a quick video, lol. Book 2 of Avatar is my favorite book. It has the most complete character arc for Aang, and its better structured than Book 1 or Book 3. Dont believe me? Look at the first episode of this book: The Avatar State. In it, the writers establish Aangs lack of control in the Avatar State, his fear of losing Katara, and Roku tells him the consequences of failing in the Avatar State. Were also introduced to Azula and lightning generation. What happens in the last episode? Aang is killed by Azulas lightning.
There are lots of other reasons why Book 2 is better than the other books, but I think that goes beyond the scope of what I want to write in a YouTube description, lol. For now, I hope you enjoy it. If it looks kind of rushed, it is... I wanted to get something out quick and dirty while also trying something a little different from my usual videos.
