Here's the result of you completing the Hero Mission of Lava Shelter.
Eggman eventually encounters Omega and Shadow, the latter he specifically calls "Shadow Android".
The two were ready to make the mad doctor regress making him.
"You're going straight to hell!"

And then the resulting boss battle... is ENTIRELY the same as it would be from completing Lava Shelter's Dark Mission. The only things that change is that Omega is actually inside the context of this fight.
Just remember to hit the slots on the Egg Dealer sooner than Eggman can. You'll not only deal direct damage to him that way, but also trigger different fevers to use against him, like Missile Fever, Bomb Fever, and Shadow Fever.
Once again, beat him up, and then get the 7th and final Chaos Emerald!

Eggman's Egg Dealer played a bad hand and lost to Shadow because of it.
This is Shadow's Neutral - Hero resolve of who he is:
"I am Shadow Android. The ultimate battle life form created by Eggman. You may have created me doctor but I will now lead this empire and androids will rule!
This is *WHO I AM.*"
At long last, E-123 Omega can finally accomplish his revenge. As he aimed at Dr. Eggman...
...Shadow finished him off with a deadly chop.
*"Nooooooo..."*
The Neutral ending theme of this game is - once again - called "Waking Up" from Julien-K. Naturally, it's not really a theme song that sides towards good or evil, but just breaking out into your own path, which is what Shadow kinda does.
This continues to basically have him completely ignore the more significant situation that is figuring out what Black Doom and the Black Arms really want to do to the whole world. Oh wel...
Since I got both Lava Shelter endings, this will upgrade the Egg Cannon to Level 2.
So stay tuned for whatever path I bring Shadow through for Story Cycle 7!
