While I enjoyed this game overall, Killer Tank and the final boss Garuda are amongst some of the most tedious bosses I have ever fought. The former isn't too bad with upgrades, but Garuda takes forever to kill even when powered up. On top of that, his "pinch" mode ended more runs that I care to count, so the sheer tediousness of that boss fight kept this boss run on the harddrive for the better part of the year (this is also why there is a sudden video quality increase when I reach him, I think I must've recorded it under different settings.) - it's very easy to lose concentration whilst fighting him.

Aside from those two bosses, the rest of the game is pretty damn good, and worth at least checking out. It's not got the same difficulty of a Ninja Gaiden game, but some of the later levels do get tough, and lives are very limited in this game. Check it out, but be warned, the final boss is really tedious to beat, and not really worth it in the end.

One bonus this game has is two player Co-Op, which is pretty rare for a NES title. I never got a chance to try it out, but the game might be worth checking out just for that reason alone.
