This is an old trick I found years ago which still works in this version! You don't even need the parachute for this, but you will need the 'flash arrows'.

Note: You can of course shoot the brazier from the other side of the crevice where you normally start, that way a stick will be waiting for you before Celosia is triggered. But I wanted to show this side to prove that Celosia cannot be seen up in the room above (as can be seen in the PS2/PS3 versions). So Bluepoint have changed this from the original code.
