Second part of the SotC medley arranged by Captnflav, with the original music composed by Koh Ohtani.
The 3 pieces in this medley, within a medley, are:
1: Grotesque figures - in which I added tremolos at one part and managed to play them pretty bad
2: The opened way - which is really fun to play for me. The most fun from all the pieces in the medley, actually.
3: The end of the battle - which for me was an excercise in subtle pedaling. It's really interesting how you can affect the way the sound sustains by how fast you raise the pedal and which notes you keep pressed...and it's really interesting how easy it is to screw that up as well T.T.
I recorded the 3 pieces seperately because a: I could use lighting to give each piece a more fitting atmosphere, and
b: there would have been more mistakes than you can count if I would have done it in a single take. That's the main reason actually, but let's just pretend I care a lot about lighting, so my ego doesn't have to suffer as much...Thanks, you guys are great.
