I'd recommend you guys at least get morgana to learn media, Anne to learn tarunda and for you to acquire slime as your main persona since he resist physical. Like the game tells you you have to keep wailing on kamoshida so he won't notice your "secret plan". Honestly sending in ryuji is the wisest choice you can do since you're only missing out on extra damage.
