The positivity, purpose and impact of Cherokee/Crow artist Shadow Hardbarger’s pieces were prominent at the 2023 Ribbon Skirt Fashion Show. Hardbarger’s skirts, which draw inspiration from her family, incorporated earth, sky, floral and basket weaving motifs. Her designs are also part of her impact on her community through her program, Creating with Purpose. The sales of her work, like her four lovely pieces in competition, raise money each month for people and organizations in need.

To find more of Hardbarger’s meaningful work, or to help support Creating with Purpose, find her on Facebook at Creating with Purpose or follow her Instagram, @dothingswithpurpose.
