Yooka-Laylee & the Impossible Lair is the 2nd game from Playtonic which consists of devs from the original Rare team that worked on Donkey Kong Country & Banjo-Kazooie.
The Impossible Lair is the first/last level in the game that can be beaten at any time (like Breath of the Wild). Completing levels grants you 1 bee that allows you to take an additional hit in the Lair. There are also bees that can be found on the overworld.
24 Bees is the main category and tasks you to cleverly route which levels can be fastest & how to sequence break into the overworld bees. Run features constant sequence breaks, multiple airswims, and precise platforming througout. Doing the Lair w/ 24 bees contains a tense risk/reward to damage boosting or preserving bees making for an exciting run.
