Shortly after this run, the DC barrel jack on my goggles decided not to play ball and threw a major wrench in my plans for going faster and faster as the heats progressed.
I was on target for my 45 which would have put me in 4th, but finished in the 6th for the country, so happy with that at least.
I'd spent a couple of weeks making sure everything was dialed in and working like a charm, but hadn't considered my goggles power connection would hobble me - even had a brand new JB power lead for them.
At the end of the day I'm still quite happy with how I flew, our SGDC crew put on an amazing GQ and all in all, the it was awesome!
Thank you to @Gemfanhobby for keeping us in the air! and everyone who helped make this event so special, including our amazing venue, Yate Outdoor Sports Complex.
