What do superheroes have to do with religion? More than you might think! In this mini-symposium, theologians Dr. Frank Bosman (Tilburg University) and Dr. Paul Clogher (Southeast Technological University, Ireland) explore how religious themes resurface in films, series, and video games, from The Dark Knight to The Chosen and Assassin’s Creed.

The speakers discuss how today’s visual culture serves as a stage for renewed religious encounters, showing how ancient spiritual narratives continue to shape modern storytelling.
