SFJAZZ High School All-Stars perform "Better Get It In Your Soul"

The SFJAZZ High School All-Stars close out another magnificent and award-winning season with "Better Get It In Your Soul" composed by Charles Mingus from their 2023 spring performance. Winners of the 2023 Mingus Festival & Competition as well as the 2023 DownBeat Student Music Awards, the Combo and Big Band dazzle us with their remarkable virtuosity. This performance includes special guest appearances by saxophonists Soweto Kinch, Kebbie Williams and All-Stars alumnus Ahkeel Mestayer on percussion.
