Elena is at the hospital and Stefan realizes the mistake he made about their relationship. He tries to come back to her but she is upset about everyhting he did to their couple.
Damon takes Lux to see a old man in another town, Whitey. Lux doesn't understand the connection they have but later, Damon tells her that Whitey is his best friend's grandfather and that his best friend is dead when they were 18 in a car accident. When they are on their way to come back, Lux asks Damon why he told her and he sinply answers she is his best friend now.
Stefan tries to mend his relationship with his sister but they don't accept his apologies
Cate and Bazze spend some time together and Dean and Brooke too. Later Baze asks Dean to be his business partner and Dean says yes. Brooke tells Cate that she knows she still love Baze and she looks happy when he is around.
While Damon is away, Bonnie hangs out with Jeremy, Elena's brother and sinds they have some chemistry. When Damon come back Bonnie lies to him about what she did when he was gone.
