I was dreaming of catching a Salmon, Halibut and Lingcod on this day and my dreams became reality. It was not without a struggle. We started on Tomales Bay with live smelt for halibut. We got only a bite. Then we went for salmon in Bodega Bay. After 45 mins I was heading in because bad weather when I tried one last drop closer in and caught a nice big salmon unexpectedly on the surface. I was over rocks and dropped down a barbless jig and within 1 minute I had a keeper ling. I headed back in to find a halibut. About another two hours trying and finally got it. That completed the Bodega Bay Trifecta! Thanks for wacthing!
