In todays video, I am collaborating with Michelle of Michelle Sews Again for the #sewpurpletoendalz22 challenge. This challenge was created to bring about awareness to Alzheimer’s disease. Michelle has set up a memorial donation page for anyone that wants to contribute financially to Alzheimer’s research. ANY amount helps!
The page is in memory of her father Bruce Walker Sr.

Michelle will be donating $1 for every entry into the challenge (maximum of $500) this year. Last year there were close to 100 entries and she is hoping to double that this year.

- 1 In 3 Seniors dies with Alzheimer’s or another dementia
- More than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s
- In 2022, Alzheimer’s and other dementias will cost the nation $321 Billion by 2050, these costs could rise to nearly $1 Trillion
- Alzheimer’s kills more than breast cancer and prostate cancer
