🚨 Sewing might not be hard… you might just be learning it the wrong way.
There are generally TWO types of sewists when it comes to learning:
👀 **Visual sewists** → You need to SEE it. Videos, demos, diagrams, step-by-step photos. Once you watch someone do it? 💡 It clicks.
🧠 **Technical sewists** → You need to understand the WHY. Construction order, seam allowances, logic, written instructions. Your brain wants the details first.
And here's the important part: **Neither one is better.**
Trying to force yourself to learn opposite of how your brain works is like trying to write with your non-dominant hand. You *can* do it… but why make it harder? 😂
I’m 100% a visual learner. I learned this from cooking long before sewing. Reading recipes? Stressful. Watching Food Network? Suddenly I’m making dinner with ✨confidence✨ and maybe a little too much confidence these days.
