Lina Piprek | Sewing a Shirt Based on "The Great" - One Day Make @LinaPiprek | Uploaded June 2020 | Updated October 2024, 3 hours ago.
In which I sew a shirt inspired by Catherine’s casual wardrobe in “The Great” *kind of* in a day but actually in 12h 45m spread over 2 days. I hope you enjoy seeing the process and possibly the absolute disregard I treat deadlines with when I’m aware they’re not Real Deadlines. (And it would have taken even longer without lovely friends to help me make decisions so thanks! ❤️) This video is definitely more of a “follow along” type thing than a tutorial, but there WILL be a tutorial for this and several other projects in the future, stay tuned for updates.

I used about 1.5m of cotton swiss dot to make my shirt. The spotted shirt in the show is a different fabric and mine also doesn’t have the neck ties, but since the project was for my own wardrobe rather than an attempt at screen accuracy, I went with personal preferences. 😊
