A wonderful way to extend the wearing of a Regency gown is to sew a variety of accessories including an endless variety of fabrics and colors of that fashionable accessory - the Spencer. Spencer, perhaps named after the 2nd Earl Spencer who burned his coattails in a fire and started the fashion fury for adults, children, ladies, and gents on both sides of the Atlantic.
