Have you ever seen a garment in a shop and thought, "I love that, but I wish it was in my color and fit my body better"? That is exactly what sparked this project for my daughter. After seeing a top she loved in a local boutique, we decided to take matters into our own hands to create a version that truly reflected her style and fit her proportions perfectly.
For this recreation, we used the Charm Patterns Las Vegas Halter—a pattern that offers such a beautiful, classic silhouette. To keep things sustainable and cost-effective, we repurposed a high-quality linen bedsheet. Linen is one of my absolute favorite fabrics for summer because it’s breathable, relaxed, and only gets better with age.
