My hairdresser is closed because of the lockdown and my roots are really bad, so I've been sewing these simple head wraps to hide them! I find that the gathering at the front makes the stay on better than a flat scarf which always slips off my head. You just need 1m of fabric and either a sewing machine or overlocker. I've used rayon and chiffon, but any soft fabric will work. You can even fold a long scarf in half and stitch it and add the gathers. Subscribe for couture sewing tutorials and inspiration.
