On the weekend of the 3rd to the 4th of January, the Severn Valley Railway once again held their Winter Steam Gala of which I attended on the Sunday. The event featured members of the Railways own fleet of locomotives, the weather being cold and snow in places made the event all the more atmospheric.

Loco's in service during the event were:
GWR 1400 Class 0-4-2T 1450
GWR 4-6-0 Hall Class 4930 ‘Hagley Hall’, Saturday only
GWR 0-6-0 Pannier Tank 7714
GWR 7800 'Manor' Class 4-6-0 7802 ‘Bradley Manor’
LMS Stanier Class 5 2-6-0 13268
BR Standard Class 4 4-6-0 75069, Sunday only
BR Class 108 DMU.
