A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been posted for areas north of Kansas City including communities like St. Joe, Cameron, Maryville, & Bethany through 8pm Wednesday. Keep in mind, storms could arrive earlier than the listed arrival times.

Although the watch isn’t in KC, you can’t rule out severe impacts by the evening in the metro, mainly in the form of strong winds.
