We hit the motherlode while stormchasing this year! I made a DVD to tell the story, but it ran way too long to show in class! I made a made-for-class documentary that is 62 minutes long and goes into forecasting, supercells, hail, lightning and tornadoes. Some of the lightning and hail footage was taken from prior years. Fully narrated, with diagrams and simple animations to explain storm structure. Suitable for middle school or high school science classes, or for anyone who has an interest in severe weather or storm chasing. It's not highly technical, so it won't bust your brain, but it does give you the information you need to know what you are looking at when you observe a severe storm and why it happens.
