Severance Season 1 episode 8 breakdown. Recap & review of "What's for Dinner?" with the ending explained. Please subscribe! 👉 bit.ly/PetePeppers
In the eighth episode of Severance, Mark (Adam Scott), Helly (Britt Lower), Irv (John Turturro), and Dylan (Zach Cherry) put their plan in motion to wake themselves up outside of the office. Harmony Cobel (Patricia Arquette) was planning on her big meeting with the board at the Eagan Family Gala. Milchick (Tramell Tillman) may have undermined her by sending photos of the Helly R. incident.
In episode 8 we get our first looks at Irv and Helly's outies. Irv lives alone with his dog Radar, and obsessively paints something that his outie should not have seen. Helly looks to be wealthy and might be in attendance at the Gala. This might confirm the popular fan theory that she's a member of the Eagan family.
This penultimate episode of Season 1 ended on a big cliffhanger. It set up an exciting finale, but it also feels like they will need more seasons to answer many of the questions fans have been asking about Lumon, the Eagan family, and the work the Severed employees do.
EPISODE 8
What's for Dinner?
The team prepares a plan. Mark attends Devon and Ricken’s party. Premiere Date: April 1, 2022

From director and executive producer Ben Stiller and creator Dan Erickson comes “Severance.” Mark Scout (Adam Scott) leads a team at Lumon Industries, whose employees have undergone a severance procedure, which surgically divides their memories between their work and personal lives. This daring experiment in “work-life balance” is called into question as Mark finds himself at the center of an unraveling mystery that will force him to confront the true nature of his work… and of himself.
The series is written and created by Dan Erickson. Mark Friedman, Chris Black, John Cameron and Andrew Colville are executive producers alongside Erickson. Ben Stiller, Nicky Weinstock and Jackie Cohn executive produce through Red Hour Productions, and both Patricia Arquette and Adam Scott serve as producers. Endeavor Content serves as the studio.
