READ HERE FOR POSSIBLE BUG FIXES BEFORE COMMENTING:
1. Smooth not playing up?
- Type mirv_campath enable 1 instead. This is how the command is supposed to be written, but I already have this command execed in my movimaking config, so I wouldnt be needing to type mirv_campath enable 1 anyway. For anyone whos NOT using my moviemaking config, type mirv_campath enable 1 instead.
2. Weapon and/or models glitching back and forth?
- This happens on some PCs while using BOTH host_timescale and host_framerate. Try disabling host_timescale (host_timescale 0), and try again.
3. Host_timescale 0 and the models are still glitching?
- Try going back 2 rounds and just let the demo play (speed it up if you want) until the time comes when you want to make the smooth. This should fix the lag. If it doesnt, try again. It WILL work eventually.
4. CS:GO closes as soon as you launch it in HLAE?
- As far as I know this happens when the HLAE client is not up to date with the current CS:GO version. Go to http://www.advancedfx.org/download/ and download the latest HLAE client. If it still doesnt work, try removing -insecure from the commandline when launching CS:GO in HLAE. NOTE: Make sure to NOT join any ONLINE servers while using HLAE.
5. mirv commands dont show up?
- Apparantly this happens because of Steam being launched in offline mode. Go online and it should work!
6. Console not opening?
- In my config you open the console with the key §, which is directly below the esc key (nordic keyboard). You can change the key to open up the console in the game settings. Make sure Use ~ to open the developer console is enabled first!

Whats up everyone. Since the smoofofer method for creating cinematic/smooths in CS:GO was pretty much outdated, I though Id make a new one - featuring the HLAE campaths method.
This method is far easier and faster, but if youd want to see how to make cinematics with smoofofer after all, heres the tutorial for that:
