In this video, we are going to be setting up a basic room presence sensor in Home Assistant using Smart Home Tech you already have.
Now, the purpose of this video is os much about showing you how to build a room presence sensor, but more about giving you some ideas on how you might build one for yourself. We will talk about why a room presence sensor is useful, what you can use to get room presence data, and then how to build a basic sensor that uses a combination of sensors and devices to locate a room that people are in.
