The feat 'Settled Mind' in The Long Dark is broken when used for long-term hibernation, effectively sending the game state back to 2016 before Cabin Fever was added. The feat unlocks a tactic, which is to combine hibernation with starvation tactic, simplified as Settled Mind tactic, where you can survive dozens of days with minimal effort. In this video, we look at how this can be done on interloper.
The title is a bit ambiguous: It took about 2.5 hours to survive 25 days, but once the tactic began then it was about 20 days in less than an hour.
