P.S. This will probably be the last video game related song on this channel. Garrett and I attempted to make a "Smash Ultimate" song. After a couple of months, on and off, of grinding the song out, I came to the realization that my heart wasn't really in it. Therefor, I had to bow out of the song altogether. Long before that I fell out of wanting to make video game related music, so it was seriously an effort even getting out of bed to want to make a Smash Ultimate song. Around the time I realized I didn't wanna do Video Game Music anymore, I fell into a deep depression, riddled with anxiety, and I never wanted to make music or YouTube videos again.
So NOW this channel will consist of New Yungtown Music, but they won't be inspired by video games. The music that I've been working on lately has been some of my proudest work yet. Completely and utterly passionately fueled, and just sounds so dang good. The album I was working on in 2017, I completely scrapped, cause it was just so ambitious and out of my wheel house. The music I'm currently working on, is totally in my wheel house, and is fueled by that classic hip-hop sound/vibe. I'm harking back to like early 90's hiphop.
Stay tuned! And please people, take care of yourselves. I can't stress how important that is. Don't let self-care go forgotten. It's uber cliche to say, but its important. Depression can be like the boiling frog, where it happens gradually, and then you suddenely realized... well, you're depressed. It's miserable.
The future is bright everyone. I love you all!
