Hello everyone and welcome to a new video!

This isn't quite a proper video. I bought these lovely Oxblood Kensingtons by American Duchess nearly a year ago. I had no 18th century event or anything, I just have loved Kensingtons for ages, and once they became available in a EU stockist (https://la-rose-passementarie.com) I jumped on them. HOWEVER, they have been in their box since last year because of one reason: buckles.

I had to install the buckles and due to fear and procrastination, I kept putting this off. Installing the buckles involved piercing the leather, which terrified me, as the shoes were gorgeous and expensive. I decided to film it as a way to hold me accountable to do it, and a couple of weeks ago I finally got round to it! I was waiting to wear these out a few times before posting this video so I could do a mini review at the end, but it seems I'll only be wearing them around the house for the next few weeks so here it is! I hope this is helpful or at least mildly entertaining.

THIS IS NOT A TUTORIAL, please follow the American Duchess actual tutorial, this is just my experience!
Here is the American Duchess proper tutorial: youtube.com/watch?v=yP-eTBMfrqo

Also I'm not weird - American Duchess included a delicious lollipop with every order.
