In this video, we’ll demonstrate how to use the Sailrite® HandyPress® with self-piercing grommet dies from Stimpson® for the 405 Machine Hand Press. Set the desired compression on the HandyPress by raising or lowering the upper shaft. Once it is set to your preference no further adjustments are required. Using the HandyPress, combined with these dies, it will consistently punch a hole and set the self-piercing grommet in your fabric assembly with a simple and easy pull of the hand lever. We call that process the "Sweet Spot" compression, similar to how a set of Vice-Grips™ work.
