On World Localization Day 2023 (www.worldlocalizationday.org), some of the world's leading localization activists came together in two conversations entitled 'Localizing Globally: Building a worldwide movement'. This is Session 1, featuring speakers from Asia and Australia:

• Debra Efroymson, Bangladesh – Institute of Wellbeing Bangladesh
• Michelle Maloney, Australia – NENA (New Economy Network Australia) and AELA (Australian Earth Laws Alliance)
• Keibo Oiwa, Japan – The Sloth Club
• Shail Shrestha, Nepal – Digo Bikas Institute
• Vicki Selwyn-Barnett, Australia – Community builder
• Kunzang Deachen, India – Local Futures Ladakh
