Dispatch Recordings welcomes Serpnt back to the label, alongside Wingz and Vienna-based production M:FX, for a powerful two-track collaborative release that has already earned its stripes on the dancefloor.
Opening the release is Styx, a deep and immersive collaboration between Serpnt and Wingz. Inspired by the Greek goddess Styx and the mythical river that separates the living from the dead, the track draws on dark, mythical influences, combining haunting atmospheres, rolling drums and a commanding low-end presence. Equal parts hypnotic and foreboding, Styx embodies the precision and mood-driven craftsmanship both artists have become known for.
On the flip, Serpnt joins forces with M:FX for Fracture. Showcasing the duo's signature attention to detail and technical prowess, the track delivers a potent blend of intricate drum programming, tension-filled sound design and heavyweight bass pressure. The result is a stripped-back yet highly effective piece of drum & bass that perfectly balances the release's darker themes while bringing its own distinct energy.
Speaking on the release, Dispatch founder Ant TC1 said:
"It's a release that's been a fairly long time coming but both tracks have built a steady momentum across my DJ sets for some time now so the timing feels right.
