Removing and replacing the serpentine (auxiliary or drive) belt on a 2002 to 2009 Volkswagen Polo Mk4 9N (with air conditioning). In this video I’m changing the belt on the 1.4 liter, 4-cylinder petrol engine. The belt length will be different on the bigger and smaller petrol engines and the diesel engines. It will also differ depending on whether the car has AC or not, so double check the part number with your own vehicle to be sure. This job can be carried out from the top of the engine, but space is very limited. NOTE: I refitted the old belt just for demonstration purposes only.
