Part 9 of our series on Chant and Sacred Music! Going over the musical outline of the Mass in its three sections: the "Order of the Mass", "Ordinary of the Mass" and "Proper of the Mass", as well as talking about Musicam Sacram (1967) and the three degrees of solemnity for the Sung Mass, what those degrees include and why you should add them in order of importance.

NOTE: I was mistaken that the Alleluia belongs to the first degree of that which should be sung in the Novus Ordo Mass. The Alleluia actually belongs to the THIRD degree. So sorry about that! :P
