Throughout my childhood and adolescent years, I dealt with quite a bit of grief, loss and traumatic experiences. We face a lot of pressure as we discover ourselves and like many people, my brain just couldn't handle the overload. I developed a Generalized Anxiety Disorder and PTSD, and suffered for years trying to explain how I felt to other people who never seemed to fully understand. I spent too many nights crying, begging to just be "normal" and constantly having panic attacks. A small task of even driving to the grocery store became a huge feat for me.After some time, I found a great therapist and I started dealing with my underlying triggers that I didn't even know I had. It was only in the consistency of doing these things where I noticed I started to become happier and discover who I really was. From recognizing that what I was experiencing was actually normal and figuring out who I wanted to be and how I wanted to feel, I was able to transform.In the end of 2019, my big brother started having anxiety, panic attacks and constantly felt stressed. I was able to help him by sharing my experiences and everything I have learned. I was able to relieve a lot of his anxiety in months- something that had taken me years. For his birthday, I made him a wooden crate filled with anxiety products and tips/ tricks. He loved the idea so much he immediately said I had to sell these and voila! This is how I decided to create Serenity Now. I started thinking-why else would I have experienced what I did, if not to help others and share my experiences. My goal is to spare you the time it took me to relieve my anxiety, and live a life of serenity and happiness by using the wonderful products in our subscription box. We have also begun stress-free gifting in our shop! We make themed gift boxes, custom gifts and corporate gifts as well. No one promised life to be easy, but it's so worth it when you live it fully!
