Having trouble with Serato Scratch Beat Grid 2? Don't worry, Scratch DJ Academy is here to help you!
"Beat Grid is a feature that is FUNDAMENTAL to the new Serato DJ and we've found that a lot of DJs avoid it like the plague. Having accurate beat grids will allow many of the intermediate to advanced features of Serato DJ to be enabled and in turn, will allow you to get more creative using features like effects, loops, and Serato Flip to make live remixes and edits.
This can be pretty tricky, which is why we made a video for you. If you have additional questions, leave a comment and we'll do our best to help you out.
For those of you out there who wish to get into programs like Ableton Live, setting grids is great practice and a on-ramp into warping in Ableton.
