I begin with some speculations on the difference between trees used in interactive fiction and global variables used in Le Morte D'Arthur, pointing out that each of these two forms uses elements from the other. In the second half of the seminar, Patrick Dugan presents a novel thesis showing the relationship between theology and interactive storytelling.
