The Sensofar Optical Profiler utilises three form of optics
• Confocal
• Focus Variation
• Interferometry
This is unique in optical profiler as most use one or possibly two methods most of the time requiring set up. The S Neox is also equipped with a 5-axis system allowing the part to be orientated and rotated.
The machine is CNC and is capable of automated measurement. It utilises Sensofar’s own software to acquire and evaluate surfaces and 3D shapes all the way down to nanometre resolutions.
