What you’ll learn

How to do it
Stand tall with feet hip-width apart. Engage your core.
Place your right heel directly in front of your left big toe (heel-to-toe stance).
Step forward with the right foot, then bring the left foot to meet the right, maintaining a straight line.
Repeat, alternating directions or length, for 30–60 seconds or 8–12 steps.
Repeat 2–3 sets. Rest as needed.
Tips for success
Move slowly and look about 6–8 feet ahead to maintain balance.
Keep shoulders relaxed and chest lifted.
Use a chair or countertop for light support if needed, then gradually reduce reliance.
