For our engineering yearlong project, my friends and I were able to get a grant to send a weather balloon the edge of space. In honor of SpaceX's launch of a Tesla Roadster with Starman, we decided to launch our own Tesla Roadster (Hot Wheels Car) with parachute man. This payload originally included 3 GoPros, an APRS and Spot tracker, along with a raspberry pi taking atmospheric measurements. While everything did not go as planned, it sure was an adventure.
