Senbon are in the game! Senbon are the fastest ninja tools in the game. Apply chakra to them to add a stunning effect to the attack if landed. Charge up your senbon to make them faster and deal more damage. In addition to the stunning affect, applying chakra to a charged senbon also makes it unblockable, great for setting up a combo as it is a guaranteed stun (unless your opponent uses the guard or deflect mechanics).
Hold the strong attack button when throwing senbon from the air to allow them to briefly hover. Hold for more than a second and they'll start tracking the opponent (your chakra will decrease while the senbon are tracking). Release the button to launch your senbon (if held too long, senbon will automatically be launched upon chakra depletion). This is great for extending combos. Though if you receive damage while holding senbon in the air, they will fall to the ground, wasting any chakra used to hold them, so be careful!
