Tim Sheehy was piloting an aircraft in Montana when it experienced an in-flight engine failure. The incident happened during a routine flight training exercise he reportedly completes twice a year. He and a co-pilot made an emergency landing near Ennis, Montana, in an open field. Both pilots were not injured, and responders reported only a minor fuel leak, which was contained. At this point, there’s no confirmed cause of the engine failure, and the incident is expected to be reviewed by federal aviation authorities.
