Joni Ernst is the United States Senator-elect from Iowa, elected in the November 2014 election.
She made the advert shown here to publicise herself, by celebrating castrating piglets (a procedure done to prevent them from developing the hormones that make their urine smell so the farmers on agri-businesses who enslave them don't have to tolerate it, they also have their tails docked (cut off) and teeth clipped so that they don't bite at each other when they go crazy in a confined factory environment)
