Honda announced at SEMA 2017 that they will have a crate engine program for the 2018 Civic Type R motor!
It will only cost about $6,500 to get a compete Type R engine but there is a catch.
Currently only pro motorsports teams registered with Honda's HPD program will be able to purchase the engine. Bummer!
