This is a VERY NICE Selmer Mark VI Tenor Saxophone. The Mark VI tenor is a modern icon of saxophones. Made popular by countless jazz greats, the Mark VI is generally considered the finest saxophone ever made and pristine examples can command prices well in excess of $15000. Serial number places the year of manufacture at 1971.
This saxophone is in excellent playing condition. This horn has the original lacquer at about 40-50% and looks nice and vintage. There are no major dents to speak of. Pads and action are very good have just been regulated by my tech and this horn is ready to play! Includes original case, but no other accessories with this one.
