Customers now can use their self-managed Active Directory (AD) to authenticate and authorize users into Amazon RDS for SQL Server without additional complexity and costs. Customers can directly join their RDS for SQL Server DB instances to the domains of self-managed Microsoft AD, and host their ADs in corporate data centers, Amazon EC2 or other cloud providers. In this session, we will walk through the benefits, how it works, and a quick demo on how to get started.
