TIP 1. Make sure you practice your self-introduction at least 3 times before your interview. Sit down in front of a friend or relative, or even in front of a mirror, and practice saying your introduction. This will help to reduce nerves and increase confidence.
TIP 2. Keep your introduction to a maximum of 60 seconds. 1 minute is all you need to introduce yourself in English in your job interview.
TIP 3. When introducing yourself in your interview, sit upright in the chair, smile and maintain eye contact with the interviewer. This will help build a positive connection and get the interview off to a positive start.

When introducing yourself, use my ENG structure – you can remember my ENG structure because they are the first 3 letters of the word ENGLISH.
E – Education & Experience - Start your introduction by talking about your EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND and EXPERIENCE.
N – What you are doing NOW – tell the interviewer what your current job role and responsibilities are, or what you are doing with your time.
G – Your Goals in the role – outline 3 GOALS you want to achieve once you start work for the company.
