The fact that we draw a line when it comes to eating certain species of animals just shows how inconsistent and hypocritical our consumption of animals really is.

We eat the animals we do because of the cultures we are raised in, not because there is a moral difference between a pig and a dog, or a rabbit and a lamb. Our use and abuse of animals for food is completely contradictory and inconsistent, although it is definitely positive that we already recognise eating certain species of animals is wrong. However, it’s important that we align our actions with our values and recognise that in the same way eating dogs, cats and rabbits is wrong, eating pigs, cows, lambs and the other animals we eat is also wrong as well. #selenagomez #veganism
