Daniel N | Sekiro but with Ed Edd n Eddy Sound Effects @danieln6613 | Uploaded 5 years ago | Updated 10 hours ago
Hesitation is defeat, Ed boy!
A video of Sekiro's final boss fight - Isshin the Sword Saint - with overlayed sound effects and music from cartoon show Ed, Edd n Eddy. I had the idea for it stuck in my head for a while now after watching chaffXgrenade's video of a Dark Souls boss fight with those sfx, but only recently decided to make it happen. It's probably the most time-consuming sound editing project for a shorter video that I've done in a while, but it was also lots of fun.
By the way, for anyone feeling like they're having a deja vu, I actually posted the original video for this a few weeks ago, however it got deleted soon after due to a copystrike. I still didn't receive any answer regarding my asking for the strike's removal (pretty sure they didn't even bother to read my message), so I decided to redo it, this time without the music and with some more sound effects added into the mix to better fit moments of prolonged silence (mainly in the opening cutscene).
Making the original was a process that took around 2 full days of preparations and video editing, with this new version adding a few more hours to redo things I didn't save and modifying some parts so it won't lose too much of its appeal without the background music.
I also made a version with Sekiro's OST as background music, but I feel like it didn't gel too well with the silly sounds on display. If despite that you're curious about it, here's a link:
