Since old days, I always wanted that IKEMEN Plus Ultra Events Mode works with the Time. First version of this idea was available in v1.2 of IKEMEN Plus Ultra, that I released in 2023: https://youtu.be/4l396HotIiQ?t=460
Back then, it only used PCs local time, and it works, but it had the peculiarity/vulnerability that anyone could modify their PCs local clock to trick the engine into thinking it was already the time when any event was available. However, I finally managed to make it connect to the time of an internet server (which can be customized by the developer), making more complex to modify/hack it.
IKEMEN Plus Ultra Events Mode now is much more robust and giving more sense to my initial idea with this game mode.
And yes, this net feature will be available by default in the next Update v1.5 of IKEMEN Plus Ultra Engine.

To celebrate the 6K subscribers reached in this channel and inspired by Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, the Shop Mode has arrived on the MUGEN scene as Lua Module format for the Ikemen Engine!
In many modern Fighting Games, Shop Mode (also known as a Store or in-game Marketplace), is a feature where players can use In-Game Currency or Real-World Money to Purchase various Items and in some cases even Gameplay Enhancements. These items can range from simple avatar icons and Custom Colors to Character Costumes, Soundtracks, and even New Characters or Stages.
Players can Earn in-game Currency by playing different game modes, such as Arcade, Versus, Missions, Events, Tournaments, or Story Mode.
This shop module is a universal solution for the Ikemen Engine, where creators will able to sell Custom Items (mainly characters and stages) and purchase them as an unlock condition to anything that use unlock paramvalues. Even Game Modes access can be purchased. So if you are making a Full Game, your game should have a Shop Menu that incentivizes players to collect coins/in-game currency to purchase and unlock content.
