The Dreamcast FPGA core is advancing at an incredible pace, with new improvements, fixes, and features appearing regularly. While still an early work-in-progress, the project is already offering a fascinating glimpse into what could be possible for future FPGA hardware and game preservation efforts.

Originally released in 1998, the SEGA Dreamcast featured advanced hardware including a Hitachi SH-4 processor, PowerVR graphics, and technology closely related to the legendary NAOMI arcade platform. Recreating that hardware on FPGA is a monumental challenge, making every development milestone worth celebrating.
